日本の藍染の歴史を引き継ぐ、インディゴ染めの中白糸を使った、無縫製でやさしい肌触りのニットアイテムが人気です。長く愛用できるカジュアルウエアや、着る人や環境に優しいエシカルなアイテムを集めました。

BASSEN WORKS

インディゴで染めた生地の“色を抜く”ことで柄をつける技術、抜染(ばっせん)。山陽染工株式会社は従来モノトーンでしか表現できない抜染を最大4段階の濃淡をつける技術を持つ、世界でも数少ない企業です。

The technique of removing the color of the indigo-dyed fabric and adding a pattern is called “bashen”. Sanyo Dyeing Co., Ltd. is one of the few companies in the world that has the technology to apply up to four levels of shading for dyeing that can only be expressed in monotone.

NUNOUS

NUNOUS®「ニューノス」は、140年の歴史をもつ、株式会社セイショクが提案する全く新しい布由来アップサイクル素材です。サトウキビ由来の樹脂を生地を固めるために使っています。独自の表情からホテルや商業施設などの建築装飾素材としても注目されています。

NUNOUS® is a completely new cloth-derived upcycled material proposed by Seishoku Co., Ltd., which has a history of 140 years. It is the resin derived from sugar cane that is used to harden the dough. Since it has a unique expression, it is also attracting attention as an architectural decoration material for hotels and commercial facilities.

石田製帽　Ishida Hat Company

石田製帽は1897年（明治30年）から一貫して素材の特徴を活かした、かぶり心地が良く、なおかつシンプルで美しいスタイルの帽子を追究しています。本社は今も変わらず岡山県笠岡市にあり、製法も昔のままです。

Since 1897 (Meiji 30), Ishida has consistently pursued a comfortable and simple and beautiful style hat that makes use of the characteristics of the material. The head office is still located in Kasaoka City, Okayama Prefecture, and the manufacturing method remains the same.

Kaihara Denim is a long-established denim brand founded in 1893. Is it possible for the denim yarn postcards handled by conoito tsumugu to utilize the residual yarn that inevitably comes out in the manufacturing process? It was born from the thoughts of the factory manager. Please enjoy the color and texture unique to denim.

The number of companies weaving canvas in Kurashiki continues to decrease, but in order to convey its goodness, we are particular about local materials in manufacturing. It’s a time of great change, but WEL. T.HARSH thinks that it is very fun and wonderful to go somewhere, and aims to create a bag that can be carried without worry.

Yoshiko Kuroda

絶滅危惧種の生き物の存在と、その多くの原因は人間にあることを多くの人に知ってもらいたいとブローチ作りを始めました。絶滅危惧種の動物たちを、「ぬり絵」のような独自の手法で手描きのイラストと手刺繍で表現しています。

She started making brooches to let many people know about the existence of endangered creatures and that many of them are caused by humans. Endangered animals are represented by hand-drawn　illustrations and hand-embroidery using a unique method like “coloring”.
